Simac Construction's corporate operations is guided by two highly-skilled and experienced construction industry professionals, Richard Simis, the firm's Founder and President and Richard Alleway, Executive Vice President.

Richard Simis established Simac Construction, Inc in 1981 focusing on retail centers and tenant improvement projects. Mr. Simis directs all day-to-day corporate operations, which entails overseeing the business activity of four regional offices from the company's corporate headquarters in San Diego.

Mr. Simis vision and commitment to excellence has taken the company from its simple beginnings to a west coast construction leader with annual sales in excess of $60 million.

After graduating from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and acquiring his B-1 General Contractor's License, Mr. Simis began his construction career not only as a project superintendent, but also managed in-house concrete, masonry, framing, finish carpentry, plumbing, and electrical sub-trades. He combines this knowledge with his architectural education to offer clients a rare insight into both a project's design as well as its construction.

Richard Alleway oversees all of Simac's construction operations from project estimating to closeout and warranty. He personally implements and maintains Simac's cohesive construction Policies & Procedures while directing the company's personnel responsibilities.

One of Mr. Alleway's unique leadership skills is the ability to procure, employ and expertly guide motivated, concerned individual thinkers. He has been actively involved in the hiring of the current construction team of nearly 100 employees that strengthens Simac's ability to efficiently guide day-to-day activities at the firm's construction sites. Mr. Alleway believes in maintaining an intimate hands-on knowledge of all Simac projects. He achieves this through a successful blend of periodic site visits ad daily conference call with all project managers. This interaction ensures that a high level of quality and workmanship are maintained amidst rigorous project construction schedules and cost conscious budgets.

Mr. Alleway's personal goals and high standards are reflected in the success Simac Construction has achieved in all the projects the company has undertaken.
